Dr Godet is the sole proprietor of Yvette Godet, D.M.D., PA., She has practiced Comprehensive and Restorative Dentistry in Gainesville, Florida since 1997. She received her Dental Degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD) and undergraduate degree from The American University in Washington, DC. Dr Godet is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists-the oldest Major Honorary Society for Dentists. In 2009, Dr. Godet was named recipient of the University of Florida College of Dentistry’s Outstanding Alumnus of the Year Award. Dr Godet has dedicated her career to actively serving the dental community on a local and state level. She served two cycles on the University of Florida College of Dentistry’s Recruitment and Admissions Committee and actively participates with UFCD’s Ethics Panel.
She served on the advisory board for The Florida Dental Association’s (FDA) Dental Meeting Planning Committee for a decade and was the 2015 Scientific Chairperson. She is the past President of the Alachua County Dental Association (ACDA) and continues as an advisory board member. Dr Godet is on the advisory board for the Sante Fe College Dental Hygiene and Auxiliary Program. She has partnered with UFCD Impressions Program for prospective minority students since 2004 and volunteers for numerous dental outreach and charitable organizations throughout the Gainesville Community. She enjoys family gatherings, travel, dancing, and dining.
